About

Tasha was first introduced to sewing at a young age by her mother who is known for making curtains, bedspreads, pillows etc. in Mound Bayou, Mississippi and surrounding areas. Tasha was usually one of the little helpers that added the finishing touches like ruffles and hemming the items for her mom.  At a young age, she enjoyed getting her mother's scraps and making doll clothes free hand.

Several years ago, one of Tasha’s mentors asked her to make a list of 25 things she wanted to do for herself.  Because reconnecting with her passion and gift for sewing was on her list, when a friend asked her to make a vintage style apron for her store’s grand opening, she said yes. The vintage style apron was a huge hit during the grand opening so she kept going and began to make custom aprons for clients.

But she didn't stop there.  Shortly after launching her custom sewing business, Tasha entered her first Fashion Show inspired with Ankara Fabrics and it was such a huge success. To this day, she enjoys creating matching outfits for her and her daughter, Jordan, because it makes her little princess feel…well, like a princess.

Beauty comes from within.  Fashion fades so Tasha doesn’t chase fashion. Instead She creates moments of joy..
